@Kristin – Yes. We all needed a break.

@Carol — Don’t forget this kid is now eight years old. There was no way I could do Czerny and Hanon for 2 hours — Yikes! I do often wonder if those exercises had anything to do with the arthritis. I’d love to see the rock Hanon. I had to change up the rhythms and also play in different keys as I grew older.

A six-year-old playing Czerny and Hanon two hours a day would make remarkable progress. They’re still the standard for piano exercises. And now there’s even a rock Hanon. How cool is that?

I love the piano section.
