The Wellness of YOU! — Part Twelve
What’s at the Top of the Bad-Food List?

Today we’re going to kick around the wellness and health subject that drives the members of my family absolutely nuts! That goes especially for the younger members. They are so used to having a certain item as a regular part of their diet (these “younger” people are in the grandchildren category, by the way) —
…. and that certain item is …. (drum-roll, please) ….
If you were to make a list of items that are major detractors to good health and wellness, SUGAR would have to be at or near the very top of the list.
Keep in mind that I’m not a dietician or health professional, I’m just someone who believes in good nutrition and who does a lot of research on that subject. And, folks, I truly believe that if you want a healthy, fit body, you have to bite the bullet and give up refined sugar!!
We always hear about those “empty calories” — and we also hear (and know) that refined sugar is an “empty calorie.” That’s bad enough, but it goes a lot further than that when we’re talking about health and wellness — it is also responsible for a long list of serious health problems. (see list below)
