9 to 5 Dieting: Surviving Food Temptations
January 6, 2006
Continuing on with our discussion of health and nutrition — and particularly weight-loss — let’s talk about how losing weight plays into the lives of those of us who are living the typical 9-to-5 lifestyle …
If you are subject to the daily work routine, dieting can be difficult — but certainly not impossible.
It’s obvious that when you’re trying to lose weight, you need to be sure to avoid the donuts and vending machines at the office. That’s a given — and we all know it. You also need to stay away from the abundance of white pasta and breads so prevalent at the fast-food chains and pizza places.
By the same token, if all you will allow yourself for food is a bunch of carrot sticks and a few rice cakes, you’re going to get bored with dieting real fast, right? And, believe me, I know — there is nothing like some food boredom to knock you off your “diet-wagon” in a hurry.
So, what do you do to make dieting more interesting and the food more enjoyable?
