The Amazing Internet Profit Challenge
It was just about a month ago that I was invited to take part in something brand new to me.
I was doing some posting in an Internet Marketing forum and heard about a possible challenge where a group of three teams would compete against each other in promoting a particular product. The teams would be made up of a variety of skill-levels, from the very experienced, successful Internet Marketers, to the newer-than-new newbie.
I was one of the lucky ones to be chosen for one of the teams. Some day you may hear about us — we’re called “Team UP“.
All the teams would develop their own Internet Marketing strategies to promote/market the product. They would share costs and profits equally between the members, and the team that had the most total profits in the time allowed (which was set up for a six week run — that could be extended because of the holidays) would be the winner.
Thus, it was born — “The Amazing Internet Profit Challenge” — and on November 6th, we kicked it off.
The talent on these teams is amazing. I can’t mention names here — that wouldn’t be fair, but I’m sure you’d recognize some of the major players in the Internet Marketing arena.
The product was selected — blogs were set up — web sites were created — keywords were researched — Adwords campaigns were established — joint venture proposals were made — cross-linking techniques were instituted — autoresponders were set up — and the teams were underway in a big way.
Some real honest excitement was in the air that kickoff day — and it still is at a high level today.
Now the sales are starting to come in and the tweaking of each team’s campaign is in full swing as we all try to squeeze out that little bit more profit than the other team.
The beautiful part in all this is that the end result will be a “Blueprint” — more commonly referred to as an eBook — that will detail every single technique taken by the teams to run this challenge. It will cover not only what the more experienced people have done, but also the steps taken by each of the team members, including the newbies, and their learning process.
Wait until that “Blueprint” comes out — what a lesson in Internet Marketing that will be, right? Wouldn’t you love to have that in your “bag of tricks”?
I’ll keep you posted.
Have a great day.
